It's clear that the 2019 Honda Pilot is one of the most promising and family-friendly SUVs to hit the market this year. Having been fully redesigned in 2016 for the third generation of Pilots, not a whole lot has needed to be changed this year. However, the brand new 2019 Honda Pilot features a few important changes, the biggest being the addition of a 9-speed automatic transmission. This transmission offers a smoother shifting capability than its predecessor. Honda has also made the Honda Sensing suite completely standard on all trim levels. There are also new technological features, including an upgraded infotainment touchscreen system. A few styling changes have also been made for the model year in order to make the vehicle look more contemporary.
